CLT
Cross Laminated Timber is typically referred to as structural panels made of timber boards that are glued together in cross grain patterns to provide extreme structural strength.
These layered sets of panels are then inserted to a press, pressure is applied and the glue cures creating a strong bond. This is the fundamental foundation of a CLT panel.
Glulam
Glued laminated timber (Glulam), is manufactured by gluing together pieces of timber, known as laminates. Different to CLT, this process produces larger size and longer length members typically for application as structural beams or columns in a portal frame.
